I believe that relationships are central to our well-being. My therapeutic style combines building a strong therapist-client relationship with empowering you to build insight and tools to reach your goals. I work with clients to better understand the personal and social factors that can lead to disconnection– from oneself, others, community, spirituality, and the environment. This chronic disconnection is at the root of mental illness and social inequity. I believe in co-creating our relationship and your treatment to best find the change you are looking for through therapy.
I am an attachment-focused EMDR therapist and have completed additional specialized training in perinatal mental health and working with very young children. I am also a clinical-level Social Work supervisor in Minnesota.
