I believe that relationships are central to our well-being. My therapeutic style combines building a strong therapist-client relationship with empowering you to build insight and tools to reach your goals. I work with clients to better understand the personal and social factors that can lead to disconnection– from oneself, others, community, spirituality, and the environment. This chronic disconnection is at the root of mental illness and social inequity.

I took a winding path to becoming a therapist, and often bring my creative background into my work with clients. After living in Milwaukee, WI for much of my adult life, I was drawn back to the Duluth area for its access to the outdoors. I am also a parent of two, lover of plants, mountain biker, snow sports enthusiast, and feel grounded by being near water.
